The Story

Economic empowerment is the foundation of women's empowerment. Recognizing that many rural women possess talent but lack access to training and income-generating opportunities, Neeru Yadav launched the Women Skill Development Initiative to help women build sustainable livelihoods.

The initiative offers practical training in tailoring, handicrafts, food processing, digital literacy, beauty & wellness, small business management, financial literacy, and other locally relevant skills. Women are also connected with government schemes, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), financial institutions, and market opportunities to help them transform their skills into sustainable businesses.

Beyond vocational training, the initiative focuses on leadership, confidence-building, and entrepreneurship, encouraging women to become financially independent and active participants in rural development.

Today, hundreds of women have gained new skills, increased their income, and strengthened their role in decision-making within their families and communities.
