The Story
Good governance begins when public services are easily accessible to every citizen. With this vision, Neeru Yadav launched the Panchayat Aapke Dwar Initiative, ensuring that governance reaches people instead of expecting people to travel repeatedly to government offices.
Through village-level outreach camps, public meetings, door-to-door interactions, and community engagement programs, residents receive assistance with government schemes, certificates, pensions, health services, education, sanitation, and welfare benefits at their doorstep.
The initiative has strengthened communication between citizens and the Panchayat, enabling faster grievance resolution, transparent administration, and greater public participation in local governance. Special attention is given to senior citizens, women, differently-abled persons, and economically weaker families to ensure that no eligible beneficiary is left behind.
By making governance people-centric and accessible, Panchayat Aapke Dwar has become a model for responsive and accountable rural administration.
