The Story
Driven by the vision of restoring ecological balance and preserving natural heritage, Neeru Yadav initiated the Biodiversity Park Development Project in Gram Panchayat Lambi Ahir. More than 350 bighas of degraded and encroached land were reclaimed and transformed into a vibrant ecosystem that supports biodiversity, environmental conservation, and sustainable rural development.
The project focused on planting indigenous tree species, creating habitats for birds and wildlife, developing water bodies, and protecting native vegetation. Bird shelters, drinking water facilities, and green corridors were established to encourage the return of local wildlife while improving ecological balance.
Beyond conservation, the Biodiversity Park has become a living classroom where students, researchers, farmers, and visitors learn about biodiversity, climate action, and sustainable environmental practices. The initiative demonstrates how community participation can transform degraded landscapes into valuable ecological assets for future generations.
